The Lady Tigers have been on a tear lately, and their last game against Coppin State Eagles on December 20th was a testament to their prowess. They cruised to an 80-48 victory with a balanced attack that saw them outperforming in almost every statistical category. Their impressive 53 percent shooting from inside the arc and relentless defense that racked up 14 steals were key factors in their win. Moreover, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring 31 points off them and dominated inside with 52 points in the paint.

Another notable performance came against Northwestern State Lady Demons on December 17th where LSU displayed its defensive capabilities with nine blocks and an astounding 21 steals leading to a comfortable victory of 81-36. The team showed its depth as well, maintaining high energy throughout all quarters.

However, it was perhaps their most recent home game against McNeese State Cowgirls that truly highlighted what this team is capable of when firing on all cylinders. A record-breaking scoreline of 133-44 demonstrated not just offensive firepower but also tenacious defense as they forced an incredible number of turnovers (36) while committing only seven themselves.

The LLLT have shown time and again that they can dominate both ends of the floor with a fast-paced offense and stifling defense. They've proven adept at converting defensive plays into quick scoring opportunities through fast breaks which will be crucial against MIZZ who will undoubtedly come prepared for battle.

Missouri Tigers should not be underestimated though; they bring their own set of skills to Baton Rouge which could pose challenges for LSU if taken lightly. However, given LLLT’s current form and home-court advantage where they recently thrashed McNeese State Cowgirls by nearly triple digits while shooting over fifty percent from both field goals and three-point range – it seems unlikely that MIZZ will disrupt LSU’s stride towards another commanding win.

Fans eager to witness this matchup can do so live at Pete Maravich Assembly Center or follow along through various broadcast networks available for coverage starting at January 5th at 9:00 PM local time (Central Time). It's set up to be another showcase event where LLLT aim to continue asserting their dominance in women's college basketball.
