From the outset, the LSU Lady Tigers set the tone with a slight edge in the first quarter, outscoring Missouri by one point. They maintained their momentum into the second quarter and entered halftime with a solid lead. However, it was during the third quarter that LSU truly took control of the game, racking up an astounding 32 points compared to Missouri's 17. This surge widened their lead significantly and set them up for victory.

The offensive effort by LSU was nothing short of remarkable. They shot an impressive 50 percent from field goals and were particularly dominant inside, scoring 52 points in paint. Their two-point shooting accuracy stood at an exceptional rate of 60 percent while they also excelled from the free-throw line with an accuracy rate of around 81 percent.

Defensively, LSU outperformed Missouri as well; they amassed six blocks and nine steals over four quarters which contributed to their opponents' total turnover count of eighteen. The defensive prowess extended to rebounding where they dominated both offensively and defensively totaling forty-five rebounds—fifteen more than Missouri's thirty-two.

Missouri did show resilience despite being outplayed; they managed to convert nine three-pointers and had a fast break point tally of thirteen which reflected their attempts to counteract LSU's aggressive playstyle. Their two-point field goal percentage stood at approximately fifty-six percent but it wasn't enough against LSU's robust defense.

The standout statistic for fans would be how efficiently LSU capitalized on turnovers; scoring twenty-nine points off turnovers compared to fifteen by Missouri is indicative of how pivotal these moments were in determining game flow and ultimately contributing significantly towards securing this win for Louisiana State University.

Looking ahead, fans can catch Louisiana State University Lady Tigers' next challenge as they face Ole Miss Rebels on January 7th at The Pavilion at Ole Miss located in Oxford MS. This matchup is scheduled for broadcast on ESPN channel two hundred six starting from noon local time.
