The Pavilion at Ole Miss witnessed an intense matchup where the visiting LSU Lady Tigers showcased their offensive capabilities by sinking eight three-pointers at an exceptional 62 percent accuracy rate. This long-range shooting was crucial in establishing a lead early in the game with LSU scoring 26 points in the first quarter and maintaining that momentum throughout. Their field goal percentage for the game stood at an effective 47 percent.

LSU's defense also played a pivotal role, amassing nine steals and three blocks while forcing numerous turnovers which led to them scoring 22 points off turnovers. They were equally aggressive on both ends of the court with a total rebound count of 44 compared to Ole Miss's total rebounds of 36.

A standout performance came from within LSU's ranks as they demonstrated teamwork with fifteen assists across various players contributing to their overall score. Despite committing nineteen turnovers themselves, they managed to keep up an assists turnover ratio slightly better than that of Ole Miss at approximately 0.79.

The home team put up a valiant effort despite falling short on this occasion. The Rebels excelled in fast break situations putting up nineteen fast break points and showed resilience under pressure by converting free throws at an impressive rate of eighty-two percent which kept them within striking distance until late into the fourth quarter.
