In their last outing against Coppin State Eagles, the Lady Tigers secured a comfortable victory with an 80-48 scoreline. Their offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting 48 percent from the field and an impressive 54 percent from two-point range. They also excelled in transition, scoring 24 fast break points and dominating inside with 52 points in the paint.

Defensively, LSU has been just as dominant. They racked up a staggering 14 steals and limited turnovers to just twelve while forcing Coppin State into twenty-two turnovers which translated into thirty-one points off turnovers for LSU.

Another notable performance came against Northwestern State where they cruised to an 81-36 win. The defensive prowess was evident as they amassed twenty-one steals and nine blocks while maintaining a solid assists turnover ratio of nearly one (0.81). Offensively, they shot over fifty percent from two-point range and capitalized on second-chance opportunities by scoring twenty-two points.

The trend continued when facing McNeese State Cowgirls; LSU's offensive machine put up a triple-digit score of one hundred thirty-three points while shooting an outstanding fifty-eight percent from the field overall. Their defense forced thirty-six turnovers leading to fifty-two points off those turnovers – highlighting their ability to convert defense into offense seamlessly.

With such trends in mind, it's clear that Vanderbilt will need to be at their very best defensively and take care of the ball if they hope to challenge this high-flying LSU team that is not only winning but doing so convincingly through both relentless defense and efficient offense.

Fans can catch this exciting matchup live on February 9th at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville or tune in for coverage starting at two o'clock AM UTC time zone (February 8th local time).
