From tip-off at Pete Maravich Assembly Center, it was clear that the LSU Lady Tigers were in fine form. The first quarter saw them trailing with only 14 points to Alabama's 23, but they quickly turned things around in subsequent quarters. By halftime, they had narrowed the gap and then exploded in the third quarter with an impressive haul of 30 points while holding Alabama to just nine.

The statistics tell a tale of dominance by LSU across various facets of play. They outrebounded their opponents significantly with a total rebound count of 54 compared to Alabama's 34. This included grabbing more offensive rebounds (17) which led to second-chance opportunities resulting in an additional 19 points for LSU.

Defensively, both teams were evenly matched with six blocks each; however, it was steals where LSU showed their defensive prowess by taking away possession from Alabama twelve times over the course of play. These turnovers proved costly for Alabama as they led directly to twenty-seven points for LSU.

On offense, efficiency inside painted areas was evident as LSU scored fifty points from close range shots contributing heavily towards their victory margin. Their shooting accuracy from two-point range stood at forty-nine percent which overshadowed that of Alabama's thirty-one percent.

While three-point shots weren't falling as frequently for LSU — converting only fourteen percent — this did not deter them from finding other ways to score effectively and maintain control over proceedings.

Alabama did manage some resistance through fast breaks scoring thirteen fast break points and making fourteen three-pointers at thirty-eight percent accuracy but ultimately fell short against a well-rounded performance by The Tigers.

Looking ahead after this emphatic win, fans can catch The LSU Lady Tigers next when they face off against Texas A&M Aggies on February nineteenth at Reed Arena located in College Station. This encounter is scheduled for six o'clock PM Central Time and will be broadcasted live for supporters eager to follow their team’s progress through what promises to be another exciting matchup.
