Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Blaze Past Liberty Flames at Von Braun

As the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders prepare to face off against the Liberty Flames, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying showdown at the Von Braun Center. The Blue Raiders, coming off a decisive victory against the Lady Techsters on March 15th with a score of 62-56, are poised to carry that momentum into their next game.

Liberty Lady Flames VS Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

The previous encounter saw MTU showcase a balanced attack with an impressive field goal percentage of 38 percent and a stellar performance from the free-throw line, hitting 90 percent of their shots. Their defensive prowess was also on full display as they racked up five blocks and five steals, contributing significantly to their six-point win.

The Blue Raiders' strategy has been clear: dominate inside the paint where they outscored their opponents by eight points last game and maintain pressure on defense. With MTU's ability to convert turnovers into points – they scored 12 points off turnovers in their last outing – it's evident that this will be a key factor in overcoming LIB.

On the other hand, Liberty Flames cannot be underestimated. They have shown resilience throughout the season but will need more than just grit to counteract MTU's robust defense and efficient scoring.

Looking back at MTU’s performance against Louisiana Tech on March 9th where they triumphed with an overwhelming score of 79-58, it is clear that when MTU finds its rhythm, they can be unstoppable. Dominating both ends of the court with high-percentage shooting (49 percent from field goals) and relentless defense (11 steals), it’s this level of play that fans hope will resurface against LIB.

MTU fans should expect another dominant performance in terms of rebounding as well; having outrebounded opponents consistently – including securing nine offensive rebounds leading to second-chance opportunities during their March 9th game – this aspect could very well tilt the scales in favor of MTU once again.

With all eyes set on March 16th at Huntsville's Von Braun Center for what promises to be an enthralling contest starting at 9:30 PM CT, supporters can catch all live action broadcasted by CBS Sports Network. The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders look ready not just to compete but also aim for another commanding victory as they continue their march through this season’s challenges.
