Nevada Wolf Pack VS New Mexico Lobos

The New Mexico Lobos demonstrated exceptional offensive execution at the Lawlor Events Center. They shot an impressive field goal percentage of forty-eight percent on fifty-two attempts and were particularly effective from two-point range where they shot fifty-six percent on thirty-nine attempts. Dominating the paint was a key factor for the Lobos as they racked up forty-two points inside while limiting the Wolf Pack to thirty.

On defense, both teams recorded two blocks each but it was the Lobos' rebounding that made a significant difference in controlling the game's pace. The team pulled down forty rebounds with thirty-three being defensive which helped limit second-chance opportunities for Nevada.

Free throws also played a pivotal role in this matchup; New Mexico capitalized by making seventy percent of their twenty-three free throw attempts while Nevada struggled from the line shooting only sixty percent on ten attempts.

Despite committing thirteen turnovers compared to seven by Nevada, New Mexico managed to maintain control throughout due to their ability to convert those turnovers into eleven points offensively.
