North Carolina State Falls to North Carolina in Fierce Showdown at Carmichael Arena

The North Carolina State Wolfpack, ranked 6th, faced a challenging encounter against the unranked Tar Heels at Carmichael Arena. The Wolfpack entered the game with a dynamic record but fell short with a final score of 70-80. The Tar Heels secured their victory by maintaining a consistent lead throughout the quarters.

The Wolfpack managed to add another 16 points but were outdone by the Tar Heels who scored 19. North Carolina State's efforts were highlighted by their tenacious defense which resulted in two blocks and three steals over four quarters of play. Their offensive rebounds stood at eleven while defensive rebounds tallied up to twenty-five – contributing significantly towards their total rebound count of forty which matched that of their opponents.
