North Carolina Tar Heels Dominate at Carmichael Arena Against Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs

In a commanding display of basketball, the North Carolina Tar Heels secured a resounding victory over the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs with a final score of 102-49. The Tar Heels, ranked 16th nationally, improved their record to an impressive standing while the Runnin' Bulldogs faced another setback this season.

The third quarter was particularly notable as the Tar Heels racked up an astonishing 40 points, showcasing their offensive capabilities. Overall, North Carolina's field goal percentage stood at 43 percent with successful execution from both two-point range (54 percent) and beyond the arc (27 percent).


The defensive effort by the Tar Heels was equally impressive; they amassed five blocks and an outstanding 15 steals during the game. This defensive pressure contributed to a staggering 44 points off turnovers for North Carolina.
