Defensively, Notre Dame also made its presence felt by accumulating nine steals and blocking two shots from the Rebels. This defensive pressure led to turnovers by Ole Miss who struggled with ball control throughout the game resulting in a total turnover count of twenty-two for them.


On offense for Ole Miss Rebels, they managed to convert only three out of twelve three-pointers taken which amounted to just twenty-five percent success rate from long range. Despite this setback, they were able to maintain an eighty-two percent accuracy at free throws but it wasn't enough to close down on Notre Dame's lead.
