The home team's offense was on full display as they amassed an impressive total of 93 points against their opponents. The Buckeyes showcased their shooting efficiency from the field with a remarkable field goal percentage of 55 percent and were particularly lethal from beyond the arc, hitting eight out of ten three-point attempts for an extraordinary three-point shooting percentage of 80 percent. Their prowess in scoring was complemented by their ability to share the ball effectively, tallying up to 23 assists over the course of the game.

Defensively, Ohio State also excelled by recording four blocks and an impressive twelve steals. This defensive pressure contributed to forcing a total of twenty-three turnovers from Minnesota and capitalizing on them by scoring twenty-seven points off turnovers. On the other side, despite being outplayed overall, Minnesota had some positive aspects in their game worth mentioning. They shot well from the free-throw line with approximately ninety-three percent accuracy and managed thirty points in paint which reflects their effort to attack inside. However, they struggled with ball control which is evident from their eleven assists compared to twenty-two player turnovers resulting in an assist-to-turnover ratio below one.

As for individual performances for Ohio State that stood out: players demonstrated strong rebounding efforts both defensively and offensively totaling twenty-nine rebounds including five offensive boards which led to nine second-chance points.

Looking ahead after this emphatic victory at home for Ohio State Buckeyes fans can mark their calendars for February 14 when they will face off against Indiana Hoosiers back here at Value City Arena in Columbus.
