First Quarter

The opening quarter saw an aggressive start from both teams. The Beavers managed to put up 13 points, but it was not enough to match the Commodores' strong offensive play that netted them 26 points. Ally Schimel led her team by contributing significantly on both ends of the court.

Second Quarter

In an impressive comeback attempt during the second quarter, Oregon State scored 25 points compared to Vanderbilt's 17. Jenna Villa played a pivotal role in this surge with her sharp shooting and defensive efforts. Despite their efforts, they trailed by five points at halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter turned out to be decisive for Vanderbilt as they extended their lead by scoring an impressive 30 points while limiting Oregon State to just nine. The Commodores capitalized on turnovers and fast-break opportunities which proved costly for the Beavers.

Fourth Quarter

In the final quarter, Oregon State attempted another rally by scoring 19 points; however, it was not enough against Vanderbilt's solid defense and strategic plays that added another 15 points to their tally. Lizzy Williamson showcased her skills with crucial rebounds and blocks but couldn't turn things around for her team.

Despite falling short in this matchup, players like Ally Schimel stood out with notable performances that will be remembered as part of this intense contest between these two teams.

Looking ahead, fans can catch Oregon State's next game against Virginia Tech Hokies on November 29th at Virgin Islands Sport & Fitness Center in St. Thomas at approximately 2:30 PM EDT via ESPN+.
