The Bryce Jordan Center witnessed an intense battle where the home team, despite a valiant effort, could not overcome their guests. The Lady Lions showcased resilience, particularly in the fourth quarter where they scored 27 points, their highest in any quarter during this matchup. Their shooting was impressive with a field goal percentage of 49 and an even more remarkable two-point shooting percentage of 60. They also excelled at free throws with a success rate of 73 percent.

Defensively, the Lady Lions managed to block six shots and steal possession ten times from their opponents. They dominated total rebounds by securing 35 compared to Ohio State's 29. Out of these rebounds, eight were on offense which contributed to their second-chance points tallying up to 15.

On offense, Penn State made good use of their opportunities inside by scoring an equal number of points in paint as Ohio State did – both teams netted 38 points each from close range efforts. However, struggles were evident beyond the arc as they only converted four out of seventeen three-point attempts resulting in a three-point shooting percentage rounding off to just about twenty-four percent.

The Buckeyes capitalized on turnovers by scoring thirty points off them while maintaining better ball control with only sixteen turnovers themselves compared to twenty-seven by Penn State. Their assists turnover ratio stood at a solid figure of approximately one point three-one indicating efficient passing and playmaking throughout the game.

Ohio State's offensive prowess was highlighted by converting forty-one percent from three-point land and fifty-one percent for two-pointers which contributed significantly towards securing victory away from home.

Looking ahead for fans eager to support their team again after this tough contest; The Penn State Lady Lions are scheduled for another challenging encounter against Purdue Boilermakers at Mackey Arena located in West Lafayette on February twenty-eighth at seven o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone (ET).
