From the opening quarter, the Lady Lions set the tone with a robust offensive display, racking up 22 points to Purdue's 20. They maintained their momentum into the second quarter by adding another commanding 25 points to their tally. The third quarter saw a slight dip in scoring for Penn State with just 18 points, but they roared back in the final period with an explosive 28-point finish.

Penn State's offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot an efficient 56 percent from the field and an impressive 63 percent from two-point range. Their prowess inside was evident as they tallied up a dominant total of 48 points in the paint. From beyond the arc, they managed to hit eight shots out of twenty attempts for a solid three-point shooting percentage of forty.
