Hawkeyes Soar Past Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike's Arena in High-Scoring Affair

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights faced a challenging opponent in the Iowa Hawkeyes, with the final scoreboard reading 103-69. The Hawkeyes, ranked 4th nationally, showcased their offensive might throughout the game. Iowa excelled with fifty-eight points scored inside the paint and capitalized on turnovers with eighteen points off them compared to twelve from Rutgers. Their assist-to-turnover ratio stood out at 3.5 while Rutgers struggled comparatively at 0.91.


The Hawkeyes also dominated rebounds with fifty-one total rebounds against thirty-four from Rutgers; this included ten offensive boards contributing significantly to second-chance opportunities which resulted in sixteen second-chance points for Iowa.
