Can the SMU Mustangs Bounce Back After Tulsa's Dominant Performance?
In a recent face-off, the Southern Methodist University Mustangs fell to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane with a final score of 73-91. The Mustangs now stand at 0-1, while the Golden Hurricane boast a 1-0 record.
The game, held at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, saw an attendance of 1,583 spectators who witnessed a competitive match-up between two determined teams. The Southern Methodist University team started off with energy in the first quarter scoring 14 points but trailed behind as Tulsa put up 21 points. Despite their efforts in the second quarter where they added another 21 points to their tally, SMU could not contain Tulsa's consistent scoring.
The third quarter proved challenging for SMU as they managed only 12 points against Tulsa's aggressive play that resulted in a substantial lead with an additional 30 points.
