In a game marked by intense competition and skillful play, the South Florida Bulls showcased their dominance on both ends of the court at Dickies Arena. The home team's defense was particularly noteworthy, as they managed to block 7 shots compared to the Shockers' 5 blocks. Both teams were aggressive in their defensive efforts, with each recording 5 steals.

Offensively, the Bulls demonstrated superior accuracy in shooting with a field goal percentage of 46 percent over the Shockers' 36 percent. This sharpshooting was critical for South Florida as they maintained a steady lead throughout most of the game. Their two-point attempts were especially effective, hitting half of their shots from this range.

The Bulls also had an edge when it came to assists, providing fans with an exciting display of teamwork that resulted in a total of 19 assists - four more than Wichita State's tally. This collaborative spirit was reflected in their higher assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.11 compared to Wichita State's ratio of just 1.5.

South Florida also capitalized on fast-break opportunities better than Wichita State did; they scored seven fast-break points while limiting Wichita State to only four points from such plays.

Rebounding was nearly even between both teams; however, South Florida edged out with one additional rebound for a total count of thirty-nine rebounds against thirty-eight by Wichita State.

From beyond the arc, both teams showed determination but once again it was South Florida who outperformed by converting seven three-point shots at a rate of thirty-seven percent against six made by Wichita State at thirty-three percent efficiency.

As for free throws, neither team excelled but South Florida managed to make ten out ten attempts which contributed crucially towards sealing their victory despite shooting fifty-six percent from the line overall during this encounter.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought win over Wichita State University's team – which saw them tied four times and only one lead change – fans can anticipate another exciting match-up when The University Of Texas At San Antonio Roadrunners host The University Of South Florida Bulls on March eleven at two o'clock PM Eastern Time (ET) back here at Dickies Arena where supporters can catch all action live as it unfolds on court.
