From the opening quarter, the home team set an aggressive pace with a substantial lead of 25 points compared to just four by their opponents. The Cardinal maintained their dominance throughout the game, outscoring the Aztecs in every quarter. Their offensive execution was particularly notable as they shot an impressive field goal percentage of 52 and were successful on two-thirds of their two-point attempts.

The Stanford women showcased depth in both offense and defense. They tallied up seven blocks and four steals over the course of play. On offense, they distributed well among themselves with a total of twenty-six assists which is reflective of their cohesive team play. Their assist-to-turnover ratio stood at an outstanding figure of 2.6.

Rebounding was another area where Stanford excelled; they secured fifty rebounds including thirteen offensive boards which contributed to fifteen second-chance points. This rebounding effort dwarfed that of San Diego State who managed only twenty-three rebounds in total.

The visiting Aztecs struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game but did manage to convert five three-pointers from sixteen attempts giving them a three-point percentage rounded off to thirty-one percent. They also fought hard defensively blocking seven shots from Stanford but could not contain the home side's scoring efficiency inside or beyond the arc.

As for individual performances, although specific player statistics are not provided, it is clear that multiple members from both teams contributed significantly given each team's collective statistics such as points scored off turnovers and fast-break points where San Diego State managed ten and two respectively.

Looking ahead for Stanford fans eager for more action-packed basketball: The next challenge will be against Cal State Northridge Matadors at Maples Pavilion on November 9th at 7:00 PM local time (PST).
