From tip-off at the neutral Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, the Stanford Cardinal set an aggressive pace against their opponents. The home team established an early lead in the first quarter with 21 points to the Eagles' 19 and maintained their advantage throughout, ending each subsequent quarter ahead: 20-18 in the second, 20-16 in third, and a dominant final period with a staggering 32 points to just 16 from their rivals.

The Cardinal's offensive execution was nothing short of efficient; they boasted a field goal percentage of over half their attempts (52) and were particularly effective from close range where they made nearly three-fifths (58) of their two-point shots. Their prowess was also evident from beyond the arc where they converted one-third (33) of their three-point attempts into valuable points.

Defensively, Stanford was equally formidable. They outrebounded Florida Gulf Coast by more than double, pulling down an impressive total of 59 rebounds compared to just 23 for the Eagles. This included securing significantly more defensive rebounds (40), which stifled many second-chance scoring opportunities for Florida Gulf Coast.

The home team's players showed commendable synergy on court as evidenced by their assist-to-turnover ratio which stood above one (1.07). This statistic underscores how well they shared and protected the ball despite committing a total of fourteen turnovers during play.

Florida Gulf Coast University did not go down without showing some resistance though; they managed to sink eight out ten free throw attempts (80), demonstrating accuracy when given opportunities at the line. Additionally, they were able to convert thirteen out forty-six three-pointers taken (28), adding some depth to their scoring efforts despite trailing behind Stanford's performance overall.

As fans look forward to future games this season, attention turns towards another exciting matchup for Stanford Cardinal as they prepare to face Grambling State Tigers on November 26th at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. Fans eager to support can catch all live action as it unfolds without any broadcast networks scheduled for coverage yet.
