The Cardinal's recent performance has been nothing short of dominant. On December 20th, they steamrolled over UC Davis Aggies with an impressive 92-52 victory. Their offensive prowess was on full display as they shot a remarkable 58 percent from the field and an even more impressive 89 percent from the free-throw line. With such high scoring efficiency, it's clear that STAN is in top form.

Their defense was equally formidable; they managed to keep personal fouls to just 10 while racking up nine steals and two blocks. This defensive solidity combined with their ability to capitalize on turnovers—scoring 24 points off them—demonstrates their comprehensive approach to controlling the game.

Earlier in December, on the 16th, STAN showcased their depth against Portland Pilots by securing an 81-51 win. They dominated rebounds with a total of 50 compared to Portland's 30 and converted these opportunities into points consistently throughout the game.

However, it would be remiss not to mention that STAN did face a setback against Gonzaga Bulldogs on December 3rd where they lost by a score of 78-96. Despite shooting well from both inside and outside (57 percent field goals), turnovers proved costly as Gonzaga capitalized by scoring an astounding 21 points off them.

The upcoming match against WASH will test whether STAN can maintain its offensive efficiency while tightening up ball control under pressure. WASH will undoubtedly aim to exploit any lapses in concentration or execution that STAN might exhibit.

With this in mind, fans should expect Coach Tara VanDerveer’s squad to come out focused and ready for battle. The key matchup will likely revolve around controlling paint presence where both teams have shown strength but also vulnerability at times.

As February approaches, all eyes will be on Seattle when these two titans meet on February 9th at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion—the home court advantage favoring WASH could play a role but given recent performances; it is hard not see why many are tipping Stanford Cardinal as favorites going into this encounter.

Fans eager not miss out can catch all action live starting at what would be late Friday evening due local time differences – tip-off is scheduled for February 9th at (7:00 PM PST). Don't miss what promises be thrilling chapter storied rivalry!
