In a game that showcased the Cardinal's offensive efficiency and defensive tenacity, fans witnessed a team firing on all cylinders. Stanford's field goal percentage was an impressive 49 percent from the field and their two-point shots were even more effective at a solid 55 percent conversion rate. The team also made eight three-pointers, shooting at a respectable rate of 38 percent from beyond the arc.

The Cardinal's defense was equally noteworthy as they racked up ten steals and blocked two shots. This defensive pressure contributed to twenty points off turnovers, highlighting their ability to capitalize on the Cougars' mistakes. Moreover, Stanford maintained control throughout the game with only eleven turnovers compared to Washington State's sixteen.

Rebounding was another area where Stanford excelled; they pulled down thirty-four rebounds including eleven offensive boards which led to fourteen second-chance points. Their effort in securing rebounds was complemented by an assist-turnover ratio of 2.33, indicating smart ball distribution and careful possession play.

A key factor in this victory was Stanford's ability to draw fouls and get to the free throw line where they attempted nine free throws making five of them. Although their free throw percentage stood at just fifty-six percent, it did not significantly impact their commanding lead over Washington State.

The standout performers for Stanford were numerous but it was their collective effort that shone through as twenty-one assists were recorded in this game – showcasing their unselfish playstyle and teamwork.

On the other side of the court, despite being outplayed overall, Washington State showed resilience especially from behind the three-point line where they shot an excellent fifty-four percent making seven threes out of thirteen attempts. They also had perfect accuracy from the free throw line but only visited it seven times throughout the contest.

As we look ahead for The Stanford Cardinal women’s basketball team will return home for their next challenge against California Golden Bears at Maples Pavilion on February 16th at 7:00 PM Pacific Time. Fans can catch all action live on Pac-12 Network as The Cardinal aims to continue its winning ways on its home court.
