In their last matchup against the Oregon State Beavers, Stanford showcased a balanced attack and solid defense. They outscored the Beavers 66-57 with an impressive field goal percentage of 45 percent and were particularly lethal from beyond the arc, hitting 47 percent of their three-point attempts. Their defensive prowess was on full display as they racked up six blocks and matched that with an equally impressive assists-to-turnover ratio of 3.57.

The game prior saw them take down the California Golden Bears with a final score of 71-57. Once again, Stanford's shooting was efficient from two-point range at 53 percent while maintaining control over turnovers and fouls. Their rebounding effort was commendable as well; they pulled down 50 rebounds in total which included ten offensive boards contributing to second-chance points.
