Cardinal's Efforts and Highlights


Despite the final score, several players from Stanford made notable contributions. Nunu Agara stood out with her double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, showcasing her versatility on both ends of the court. However, her shooting percentage was just 25 percent from the field. Shay Ijiwoye also contributed with 8 points and showed promise from beyond the arc by hitting half of her three-point attempts.


Kennedy Umeh added another layer of depth to Stanford's performance by scoring 6 points on an impressive 75 percent shooting from inside while also securing four rebounds. Chloe Clardy facilitated playmaking with three assists alongside her seven points and managed to steal once during the game.


Duke Blue Devils' Dominant Performance


The Duke Blue Devils demonstrated why they are one of the top teams this season with a comprehensive win over Stanford. Their defense was particularly effective, recording nine blocks and ten steals throughout the game which contributed significantly to their victory margin. The home team capitalized on turnovers, converting them into 25 points off turnovers compared to Stanford’s six.


Duke’s balanced attack saw contributions across their lineup with bench players adding a significant 23 points to their total score. Their efficiency in fast-break situations resulted in twenty fast-break points highlighting their ability to transition quickly from defense to offense.
