First Quarter

The opening quarter saw an aggressive start from both teams. The Orange took an early lead, scoring 21 points compared to Stanford's 17. Despite their efforts, the Cardinal struggled defensively, allowing Syracuse to capitalize on fast breaks and turnovers.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams continued their competitive play. However, it was evident that Stanford's shooting accuracy was not up to par as they managed only 12 points while Syracuse added another 16 to their tally. Lara Somfai stood out for the Cardinal with her consistent performance on both ends of the court.

Third Quarter

The third quarter witnessed a more balanced contest as each team scored 12 points. Talana Lepolo contributed significantly for Stanford with her defensive efforts and assists but could not turn around their fortunes entirely.

Fourth Quarter

As the final quarter unfolded, Stanford attempted a comeback by scoring another 17 points; however, it wasn't enough to overcome Syracuse's strong finish of 20 points in this period. Wrenwyck Ijiwoye showed resilience by adding crucial baskets for his team but ultimately fell short against an efficient Orange defense that recorded multiple steals throughout the game.

Overall analysis reveals that despite some individual brilliance from players like Lara Somfai who scored consistently across quarters or Wrenwyck Ijiwoye’s attempts at closing gaps during critical moments - collectively there were too many missed opportunities due mainly due poor shooting percentages (35 percent field goals) along high turnover rates which cost them dearly against such formidable opponents like those found within ranks over here today!
