In a display of solid basketball at Schollmaier Arena, the TCU Horned Frogs showcased their skills against the Lamar Cardinals. The home team took an early lead in the first quarter with 17 points to Lamar's six and maintained their momentum throughout the game. By halftime, TCU had built a comfortable lead, which they never relinquished.

The Horned Frogs' offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot an impressive 43 percent from field goal range and an outstanding 46 percent from beyond the arc. Their three-point shooting was particularly notable as they made 12 out of 26 attempts. Inside scoring was also a key factor for TCU with 26 points coming from within the paint.

On defense, TCU outperformed their opponents by securing five blocks and two steals during the game. They also edged out Lamar in total rebounds with 43 compared to Lamar's 41, demonstrating their ability to control both ends of the court effectively.

TCU players showed great teamwork with a total of 21 assists contributing significantly to their offensive success. Despite committing nine turnovers themselves, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring seven points off them.

Lamar Cardinals fought hard but struggled with accuracy throughout the match; they managed only a field goal percentage of about 31 percent and were less effective from three-point range at around just over seventeen percent accuracy. However, they did excel at free throws making approximately seventy-one percent compared to TCU’s forty-four percent completion rate.

The Cardinals' effort was evident in their hustle for second-chance points where they scored thirteen compared to ten by TCU but it wasn't enough against a well-rounded performance by The Horned Frogs who led twice during this encounter while being tied only twice throughout its duration.

As fans look forward to more action-packed games, attention now turns towards Texas Christian University’s next challenge when they host Omaha Mavericks at Schollmaier Arena on December twenty-first at seven-thirty PM local time (Central Time). Fans eager not to miss any action should note that there are no broadcast networks listed for this upcoming game yet; however details regarding viewing options will likely be announced closer to game day.
