TCU Horned Frogs Outscore Nebraska Cornhuskers at McArthur Center in Women's Basketball Showdown

TCU Horned Frogs VS Nebraska Cornhuskers

The TCU Horned Frogs showcased a strong offensive performance against the Cornhuskers. The home team shot an impressive 48 percent from the field and an even more remarkable 65 percent from two-point range. Their free throw accuracy was also notable, with a success rate of 78 percent. The Horned Frogs capitalized on their shooting efficiency to rack up points in each quarter, scoring consistently with 23, 22, 19 and finally sealing their win with a solid 24-point effort in the fourth quarter.

Defensively, TCU made its presence felt by amassing six blocks and three steals throughout the game. They narrowly outrebounded their opponents with a total of 39 rebounds compared to Nebraska's tally of 38. This slight edge helped them maintain control as they fought off any comeback attempts by the Cornhuskers.

The visiting Nebraska team put up a valiant fight despite falling short on this occasion. They managed to convert half of their two-point attempts and scored heavily in paint with a total of 34 points coming from that area. Their three-point shooting was not as effective though, landing only seven out of twenty-five attempts which rounded off to about a mere thirty-one percent success rate.

Nebraska also showed tenacity on defense but struggled slightly more than TCU when it came to fouls; they committed twenty personal fouls over TCU's eighteen. However, they did manage four steals and kept turnovers low for both teams – each having only seven turnovers during playtime.

As fans look forward to future games, attention turns towards another exciting encounter for TCU Horned Frogs as they prepare to host Tulsa Golden Hurricane at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth on December first at seven-thirty PM Eastern Time (6:30 PM Central). While no broadcast networks have been announced for this upcoming game yet, fans are encouraged to stay tuned for updates regarding where they can catch live action as these teams face off next month.
