Temple Owls Set to Battle Tulane Green Wave at Devlin Fieldhouse

As the Temple Owls prepare to face the Tulane Green Wave at Devlin Fieldhouse, fans are eager for what promises to be a thrilling encounter. The Owls have shown resilience and tenacity in their recent games, and this upcoming match is an opportunity for them to assert their dominance on the court.

Tulane Green Wave VS Temple Owls

In their last game on December 21 against the Northwestern Wildcats, the Owls fell just short with a score of 68-72. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways that suggest they could bounce back against Tulane. The team's defensive rebounding was impressive, securing 44 rebounds compared to Northwestern's 35. This rebounding strength will be crucial in controlling the pace of the game against Tulane.

The Owls also demonstrated an ability to capitalize on turnovers during that game, scoring 13 points off turnovers while only giving up seven points from their own turnovers. Their ball handling will need to be sharp once again as they aim to disrupt Tulane's flow and create scoring opportunities from defensive plays.

Looking back at another recent performance on December 17 against La Salle Explorers, TEM showcased their offensive prowess with an emphatic victory of 85-61. Their fast break execution was particularly notable as they racked up a remarkable 30 fast break points. If they can replicate this kind of transition offense against TULN, it could very well be a deciding factor in swinging momentum in their favor.

One area where TEM needs improvement is field goal percentage; shooting just over 30 percent from the field won't cut it if they want consistent success. However, given that they managed a better shooting performance (44 percent) against La Salle suggests that when in rhythm, this team can indeed find its mark.

The matchup with TULN will not be easy by any means; however, based on past performances and statistics such as assists turnover ratio and second-chance points – where TEM has shown efficiency – there is reason for optimism among fans.

Supporters should mark their calendars for January 28th when these two teams clash at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans at 3:00 PM local time (8:00 PM GMT). While no broadcast networks have been announced yet for live coverage of the game, fans should keep an eye out for streaming options or local listings closer to game day so as not miss any action from what promises to be a captivating contest between Temple University and Tulane University women's basketball teams.
