The Lady Volunteers started strong with 20 points in the first quarter and maintained their lead throughout the game. Their offensive execution was on point, as they shot an impressive 47 percent from the field across all quarters. The team's two-point shots were particularly effective, hitting at a rate of 55 percent.

Tennessee's defense was equally formidable; they did not register any blocks but managed to keep pressure on their opponents consistently. They also matched Vanderbilt in steals with seven each but committed fewer personal fouls (10) compared to Vanderbilt's 17.

On offense, Tennessee showed remarkable teamwork with 16 assists and capitalized on turnovers by scoring 19 points off them. Their fast break performance added another layer to their attack as they scored 13 fast break points.

Their two-point field goal percentage stood at approximately half successful attempts which kept them within striking distance throughout most parts of the game.

The upcoming schedule sees Tennessee Lady Volunteers traveling away from home turf to face Ole Miss Rebels at The Pavilion at Ole Miss located in Oxford on January 28th scheduled for tip-off around mid-afternoon local time (2:00 PM CST).
