Lady Volunteers Narrowly Miss Victory at The Pavilion

In a closely contested match, the Tennessee Lady Volunteers fell short against the Ole Miss Rebels with a final score of 75-80. The Lady Volunteers now stand with their record reflecting the intensity of their season's challenges. Despite outscoring the Rebels in the first quarter 27-21, they couldn't maintain their lead through subsequent quarters.

Despite falling behind after halftime due to only scoring twelve points in second quarter against Rebels' eighteen, Tennessee kept pace by matching each point scored by their opponents during both third and fourth quarters; however it wasn't enough to close down five-point deficit that had developed earlier on.
