Can Tennessee Lady Volunteers Maintain Dominance Against Arkansas Razorbacks at Thompson-Boling?

As the Tennessee Lady Volunteers gear up to host the Arkansas Razorbacks at Thompson-Boling Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The upcoming clash on February 13th is set to be a showcase of skill and strategy, with the home team riding a wave of confidence after their recent performances.

Tennessee Volunteers VS Arkansas Razorbacks

The Lady Volunteers have been in formidable form, as evidenced by their commanding 85-63 victory over Wofford Terriers on December 19th. Their offensive prowess was on full display, with an impressive field goal percentage of 44 and a particularly noteworthy performance from beyond the arc, hitting 29 percent of their three-point attempts. Additionally, they excelled at free throws, sinking them at a rate of 79 percent.

Tennessee's defense has also been stout; they out-rebounded Wofford by a significant margin (50 rebounds for TENN to Wofford's 36), which included dominating the offensive glass with 14 rebounds leading to crucial second-chance points. This rebounding strength could be pivotal against ARK.

However, it's not all smooth sailing for TENN. A closer look reveals some areas that might give ARK an edge if not addressed promptly. In their game against Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on December 7th, TENN struggled with turnovers and only managed to secure three fast-break points compared to MTU's thirteen.

Despite these concerns, there is reason for optimism among Volunteer fans. The team has shown resilience and adaptability throughout the season. For instance, despite turning over the ball more frequently than desired in their game against Eastern Kentucky Colonels on December 10th – where they had twenty-two turnovers – they still emerged victorious thanks to aggressive play that led them to score twenty-one points off turnovers.

The Arkansas Razorbacks will undoubtedly pose a challenge; however, based on recent performances and statistics from past games this season – including those played away from home – it seems likely that TENN will continue its strong showing in front of its passionate fan base.

With tip-off scheduled for February 13th at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville TN fans eager to support their team can catch all the action live or tune into broadcasts covering this highly anticipated matchup between two competitive teams vying for supremacy on court!
