From the opening quarter, both teams set an aggressive pace with each putting up 20 points. However, as the game progressed, it was clear that the Texas Longhorns were in control. They maintained their scoring momentum by adding another 20 points in the second quarter and continued to build their lead with 21 points in the third and finishing strong with 17 points in the final quarter.

The home team's offensive efficiency was on full display as they shot an impressive 48 percent from field goal range and an exceptional 43 percent from beyond the arc. Their two-point attempts were particularly effective, seeing them hit nearly half of their shots. The Longhorns also capitalized on turnovers, scoring a significant 26 points off of Oklahoma's mistakes.

Defensively, Texas showed prowess by accumulating more steals than Oklahoma with a total of 11 compared to eight for their opponents. This defensive pressure contributed to Oklahoma committing a total of 24 turnovers throughout the game.

In terms of rebounds, Oklahoma managed to edge out Texas slightly with a total rebound count of 41 against Texas' tally of 36. Despite this narrow margin on boards, it wasn't enough for Oklahoma to overcome Texas' offensive surge or staunch defense.

The Longhorn's teamwork shone through as they racked up more assists than their counterparts; distributing well amongst themselves for a total of 18 assists which reflects their cohesive playmaking abilities throughout this matchup.

Looking ahead after this convincing win at home court, fans can anticipate watching The University of Texas at Austin's next game when they host rival team Oklahoma State Cowgirls at Moody Center once again. This upcoming contest is scheduled for January 28th at seven o'clock PM Central Time and will be broadcasted live on LHN channel number six hundred seventy-seven for those who wish to follow along.
