This defensive strength was complemented by an offense that saw them shoot with a 37 percent field goal accuracy and make 20 successful shots from within the field. Their prowess from the free-throw line was notable as well, converting 23 out of 29 attempts which rounded up to an impressive 79 percent success rate.

On top of their defensive and offensive achievements, the Longhorns excelled in rebounding with a total of 46 rebounds; this included both offensive and defensive efforts which were significantly higher than their opponents'. The Bearcats struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game, managing only a field goal percentage of just over one-third at 33 percent. Their two-point attempts were slightly more successful at a rate of 38 percent but still fell short against Texas' defense. Despite these challenges, they showed resilience from beyond the arc and free throw line hitting three out three-pointers and achieving a commendable free throw percentage rounding up to about three-quarters.

As for individual performances for Texas, it was not just about one star player but rather a collective effort that led them to victory. They shared responsibilities on court effectively as reflected in their assist-to-turnover ratio which stood at approximately one-and-a-half times better than Cincinnati's ratio.
