Texas Tech Red Raiders VS Texas-Arlington Mavericks

At United Supermarkets Arena, the home crowd witnessed the Texas Tech Lady Raiders dominate from start to finish. The game started with a solid foundation as the Lady Raiders put up 13 points in the first quarter and followed it up with 16 in the second, taking a comfortable lead into halftime. The third quarter saw an explosive performance from Texas Tech, nearly doubling their half-time score by adding another 29 points to their tally. They closed out the game with an additional 18 points in the fourth quarter.

The offensive effort was well-rounded for Texas Tech, who shot an impressive 47 percent from field goal range and converted on eight of their three-point attempts for a decent rate of about 33 percent. Their two-point game was particularly strong, hitting over half of their shots at approximately a rate of 56 percent.

Defensively, they were just as formidable; they amassed a total of seventeen steals and contributed two blocks. This defensive pressure translated into significant scoring opportunities as they capitalized on turnovers by scoring an astonishing total of forty-four points off them.

Texas Tech also demonstrated excellent teamwork with twenty-one assists throughout the game which is reflected in their assist-to-turnover ratio standing at one. Their rebounding was dominant too; pulling down forty-five rebounds – nineteen offensive and twenty-six defensive ones – which played a crucial role in securing second-chance points that amounted to eleven.

On Incarnate Word's side, despite facing tough opposition, they managed to secure ten fast break points and scored eighteen points inside paint but struggled overall offensively throughout all four quarters. Their shooting percentages were low across all fronts: approximately twenty-nine percent field goals made overall and only about sixteen percent success rate from beyond the arc.

The Cardinals did show resilience on defense with three blocks and six steals but committed eighteen personal fouls over course of play which hindered any momentum they might have gained otherwise.

Looking ahead for fans eager to support their team once more: The next challenge for Texas Tech will be against Tulsa Golden Hurricane at Seabury Hall located in Makawao on December 19th at PM local time (December th UTC). Fans can catch this upcoming match-up live as it unfolds without any broadcast networks announced yet for coverage.
