The game, held at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, saw a modest attendance of 1,031 spectators who witnessed a hard-fought battle between two determined teams. Despite their efforts, Tulane struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match.

From tip-off, it was evident that both teams were eager to establish dominance early on. The first quarter ended with Tulane trailing by five points as they scored 15 compared to Tulsa's 20. This set the tone for what would be an uphill battle for Tulane throughout the rest of the game.

Tulane’s performance showcased their tenacity on defense and offense with nine steals and ten assists during playtime; however, they could not capitalize on these opportunities as much as needed. Their shooting accuracy was below expectations; they made only six out of twenty-five three-point attempts resulting in a twenty-four percent success rate from beyond the arc and converted fourteen out of forty two-point attempts which amounted to thirty-five percent completion.

Despite being outscored in each quarter and facing an eighteen-point deficit by game end, there were notable efforts from Tulane players who fought valiantly in search of points within paint where they scored twenty-eight points – matching Tulsa’s tally in this area.

Tulane also managed to gather more offensive rebounds than Tulsa with thirteen against six but fell short overall in total rebounds by two – securing thirty-seven against Tulsa’s thirty-nine rebounds. Furthermore, while converting eighty percent from free throw line was impressive for Tulane (making eight out of ten), it wasn't enough when compared against other aspects where improvement is needed such as field goal percentage which stood at thirty-one percent after making only twenty field goals from sixty-five attempts.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on road conditions will be crucial for team morale going forward into next games where better execution will be key if victories are desired outcomes for fans back home cheering them on every step along way towards success stories yet unfold before us all watching closely how season progresses over time together united behind our beloved team - The Green Wave!
