As the Tulane Green Wave prepare to host the East Carolina Pirates at Devlin Fieldhouse, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying game of women's basketball. Looking back at the Championship Game on December 21st, TULN edged out a victory against the Black Bears with a narrow three-point lead. Their resilience was on full display as they fought tooth and nail for every point. With six blocks and seven steals, their defense was nothing short of formidable. They also showcased their ability to work as a cohesive unit with 18 assists contributing to their win.

In another impressive outing during the Semifinals - Game 1 on December 20th, TULN overcame the Trojans by nine points. Their shooting accuracy was remarkable; they hit nearly half of their field goals and were deadly from beyond the arc with a three-point percentage rounding up to 43 percent. The team's ability to convert free throws at a rate of approximately 73 percent also played a crucial role in sealing that victory.

The game against Howard's Lady Bison on December 10th further highlighted TULN's strengths. They dominated both ends of the court, securing more rebounds and maintaining higher shooting percentages across all categories compared to their opponents.

However, it would be remiss not to acknowledge that East Carolina Pirates will come into this game looking for an upset. ECU has shown tenacity in past games and will undoubtedly bring their A-game when facing TULN.

But given TULN’s recent form – particularly their defensive prowess which has seen them average around five blocks per game – it seems likely that they'll have what it takes to stifle ECU’s offense while continuing their own scoring efficiency.

The scheduled match-up is set for January 13th at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans, LA. Tip-off is slated for 3:00 PM local time (Central Time Zone). While there are no broadcast networks listed for this encounter, fans should keep an eye out for streaming options or local listings closer to game day so as not miss any action from what promises be another thrilling chapter in Tulane Green Wave women’s basketball season.
