Tulane Green Wave VS SMU Mustangs

In their last game on December 21 against the Maine Black Bears, TULN secured a narrow victory with a final score of 64-61. It was a hard-fought match where TULN showcased resilience and strategic prowess. Their defense was particularly notable, amassing six blocks and seven steals which were crucial in disrupting Maine's offensive flow. Moreover, TULN's ability to distribute the ball effectively was evident from their 18 assists, indicating strong team chemistry and court vision.

Earlier on December 20 against the Little Rock Trojans in the semifinals game one, TULN emerged victorious with a score of 66-57. Despite committing more turnovers than usual with a total count of 19, they managed to maintain control by capitalizing on points off turnovers (21) and shooting an impressive three-point percentage (43 percent). This performance highlighted TULN's tenacity and ability to convert defensive plays into scoring opportunities.

Against Howard Lady Bison on December 10th, Tulane triumphed once again with a scoreline of 67-52. They demonstrated exceptional free throw accuracy at an astounding rate of 88 percent while also maintaining solid three-point shooting (36 percent). The team’s rebounding effort stood out as well; they outrebounded Howard by seven boards which played an integral role in securing second-chance points.

The upcoming clash against SMU is expected to be challenging yet winnable for TULN if they leverage their strengths effectively – particularly their defensive solidity and sharpshooting from beyond the arc. While SMU will undoubtedly come prepared for battle, it is essential that Tulane focuses on minimizing turnovers and maximizing each possession.

The scheduled date for this much-awaited game is February 15th at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans. Fans can catch all the action live as both teams vie for supremacy in what promises to be an enthralling contest between two determined adversaries.
