Tulsa Golden Hurricane Set to Storm Memphis Tigers at Elma Roane Fieldhouse

As the Tulsa Golden Hurricane prepare to face off against the Memphis Tigers at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a riveting encounter on December 30th. The Golden Hurricane, coming off a nail-biting victory against Southeastern Louisiana with a score of 48-47 on December 21st, have shown resilience and an ability to close out tight games.

In their last outing, TLSA's defense was particularly impressive, racking up seven blocks and limiting their opponents' field goal percentage to just 32 percent. Despite struggling from beyond the arc with only a 21 percent success rate from three-point land, they made up for it with sheer determination in rebounding—dominating the boards with 43 total rebounds.

The game against Southeastern Louisiana also highlighted some areas of concern for TLSA. A high turnover count of 16 could have been disastrous if not for their defensive prowess. The team will need to tighten up ball handling and improve their assists-to-turnover ratio which stood at a mere 0.5 in that game.

However, it's worth noting that in an earlier match-up on December 16th against Texas Southern, Tulsa showcased what they're capable of when firing on all cylinders. They put up an emphatic performance scoring 82 points while shooting an impressive 50 percent from the field and claiming victory by a significant margin.

The upcoming clash is expected to be heavily influenced by TLSA's ability to control the paint as they did against Texas Southern where they scored a whopping 42 points inside and outrebounded their opponents by twelve boards.

On the other side of the court stands MEM who will undoubtedly pose challenges with their home-court advantage and desire to defend their turf fiercely. However, if Tulsa can replicate its dominant form shown earlier this month rather than its more recent shaky performance, fans can expect them to leave Memphis victorious.

With both teams gearing up for this exciting matchup, loyal supporters should mark their calendars for December 30th at Elma Roane Fieldhouse where tip-off is scheduled at 2:00 PM Central Time. Fans unable or unwilling to brave potential storms can catch all action live from wherever they find most comfortable – ensuring not even Mother Nature can keep them from cheering on their beloved Golden Hurricane.
