Memphis Tigers VS Tulsa Golden Hurricane

The Golden Hurricane showcased a strong defensive game with seven blocks and five steals. Offensively, they were equally impressive with eighteen assists contributing to their overall score. Their shooting accuracy was on display as they made over half of their two-point attempts at fifty-three percent and maintained an overall field goal percentage of forty-six percent. From beyond the arc, the team managed to hit ten out of twenty-seven three-point attempts, rounding off at thirty-seven percent for three-pointers.

Tulsa's free throw performance was solid; they made nine out of twelve attempts which translates to seventy-five percent from the line. The team also capitalized on turnovers by scoring ten points off them and added eight fast break points to their tally.

On the rebounding front, Tulsa collected thirty-seven rebounds in total with five offensive boards contributing to second-chance opportunities that resulted in five additional points for the team. The defensive effort saw them grab twenty-seven rebounds which helped limit the Tigers' chances for extra possessions.

In contrast, the Memphis Tigers struggled with shooting efficiency throughout the game. They only managed thirty-nine percent from two-point range and had an even tougher time from distance making just fifteen percent of their three-point shots. Their field goal percentage stood at thirty-five percent overall.

Despite having more total rebounds than Tulsa at forty-five and more offensive rebounds at thirteen which led to nine second-chance points, Memphis could not convert these opportunities into enough points on the board. They also had fewer assists than Tulsa with only eight but did manage eight steals over Tulsa's five.

As fans look forward to future games, attention turns toward an upcoming match where the Tulsa Golden Hurricane will host Tulane Green Wave at Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa on January 2nd at 6:30 PM local time (Central Time). Fans can catch all action live as it unfolds next year.
