In their last game at Pauley Pavilion, despite a valiant effort, the Bruins fell short against Stanford Cardinal with a final score of 59-72. The team struggled from the field, shooting only 33 percent from beyond the arc and 33 percent overall. However, they did excel at free throws with an impressive 80 percent accuracy.

The previous home game saw better fortunes for UCLA as they edged out USC Trojans by one point in a nail-biting finish that ended 61-60. The Bruins' defense was key in this victory as they managed to keep turnovers low and capitalized on fast-break opportunities.

However, when playing away against Oregon State Beavers, UCLA couldn't maintain their momentum and suffered a defeat with a score of 72-77. Despite shooting better from three-point range at 43 percent and maintaining an assist-to-turnover ratio of almost one-and-a-half times better than Oregon State's ratio of just over one times better than theirs.

With these performances in mind, it is clear that consistency is something that Coach Cori Close will be looking to instill in her squad ahead of this matchup. Fans can expect UCLA to focus on improving their field goal percentage while continuing to leverage their free throw shooting prowess.

The upcoming match promises excitement as both teams vie for dominance on January 15th at Pauley Pavilion – an arena known for its vibrant atmosphere which could provide an additional edge for the home side. Fans can catch all the action live on Pac-12 Network at local time (8:00 PM).
