Clash at CU Events Center: UCLA Bruins Take on Colorado Buffaloes in Women's Basketball Showdown

In their last game against Washington State Cougars, the Bruins secured a victory with 73 points to 66, demonstrating their ability to maintain a lead and close out games. Their scoring was particularly impressive in the third quarter where they racked up 25 points, showing an ability to accelerate after halftime. With an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.4 and shooting 43 percent from beyond the arc, it's clear that ball movement and perimeter shooting are among their strengths.

However, consistency is key for UCLA as evidenced by their previous game against Washington Huskies where they struggled offensively but still managed to pull through with a win at 51-47. Despite shooting only 32 percent from the field and having an assists turnover ratio of just over half (0.55), they showed resilience on defense with five blocks and kept turnovers low.

The most telling performance came when they played California Golden Bears at home; dominating with an impressive scoreline of 87-70. The Bruins displayed efficient offense across all quarters while maintaining defensive pressure that led to converting turnovers into points (19 points off turnovers). Their assist-to-turnover ratio was exceptional at two, indicating excellent ball control and teamwork.

With these trends in mind, fans should expect UCLA to focus on capitalizing on their offensive strengths while continuing to apply pressure defensively. Playing away might challenge them but if recent performances are anything by which to judge, they have both the tenacity and skillset required for success.

The upcoming game is scheduled for January 28th at CU Events Center in Boulder, CO. Fans can catch all the action live on Pac-12 Network starting from two o'clock post meridian Eastern Time.
