The game started with the Trojans taking an early lead in the first quarter with 15 points to UCLA's 8. The second quarter saw continued dominance by USC as they outscored UCLA by eight points, ending the half at 34-19. However, after halftime, there was a noticeable shift in momentum as UCLA rallied back fiercely in both third and fourth quarters scoring an impressive total of 46 points but ultimately fell short.

UCLA's performance was marked by their resilience and ability to fight back from a significant deficit. They showcased strong offensive plays inside the paint totaling to an impressive count of 32 points from such efforts. Their shooting from two-point range was efficient with a conversion rate of fifty-four percent; however, they struggled beyond the arc making only four out of twenty-two attempts which translated into eighteen percent success rate.

Defensively, UCLA managed to block four shots and made eleven steals throughout the game indicating their presence on that end of the court as well. They also collected thirty-four rebounds with twenty-four being defensive ones which helped them limit second-chance opportunities for USC.

Despite these efforts, turnovers were a critical issue for UCLA who gave up possession twenty-two times compared to USC's seventeen turnovers. This led to twelve points for UCLA off those turnovers but wasn't enough when compared to USC's twenty-three points gained from similar situations.

On individual performances for UCLA: players showed determination and teamwork contributing across various statistics including twelve assists which demonstrated their collaborative play style although it was overshadowed by their high turnover count leading to an assist-turnover ratio below one (0.57).

Looking ahead after this tough loss on enemy territory, fans can look forward to seeing if their team can regroup and come back stronger in their next match-up against Colorado Buffaloes scheduled on January 19th at CU Events Center located in Boulder Colorado zip code:80302 USA; this game will be broadcasted live on Pac-12 Network starting at five o'clock Pacific Time where supporters can tune in hoping for better outcomes than what transpired tonight.
