The game at Gill Coliseum was marked by intense competition with the lead changing hands 15 times and the score tied on another 15 occasions. They also excelled at free throws, making them at an accuracy rate of 83 percent.

Defensively, UCLA managed to block one shot and steal the ball five times. Their rebounding efforts led to them grabbing a total of 29 rebounds – with ten on offense providing crucial second-chance opportunities that resulted in nine points. Despite these efforts, personal fouls became a concern as they accumulated a total of 22 throughout the game.

On offense, assists played a significant role for UCLA as they distributed the ball effectively for most parts of the game ending with fifteen assists which contributed to their assist-turnover ratio standing at an admirable figure of approximately two (1.67). However, turnovers did present some issues for both teams as each committed ten throughout the encounter.

Oregon State's performance was highlighted by their sharpshooting from beyond the arc where they hit three-pointers at an impressive rate rounding up to nearly sixty (58) percent efficiency. Their overall field goal percentage stood higher than that of UCLA's at fifty-two (52) percent which proved pivotal in such a close match-up.

The next challenge for UCLA will be against Oregon Ducks scheduled on February eighteen twenty-fourteen (2024), taking place at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene with fans able to catch all action live on Pac-12 Network starting from two o'clock PM Pacific Time.
