UNLV Rebels Set to Battle Fairleigh Dickinson Knights at Rothman Center in Women's Basketball Showdown

As the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels prepare to face off against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights at the Rothman Center, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The UNLV Rebels have been on a formidable run, and their upcoming game on December 21st is shaping up to be a true test of their prowess on the court.

Hofstra Pride VS UNLV Runnin' Rebels

In their recent clash on December 9th against Oklahoma's Sooners at Lloyd Noble Center, the Rebels dominated with an impressive 92-76 victory. Their offensive strategy was relentless; they showcased a balanced attack with a strong presence inside the paint, racking up 56 points in that area alone. Their shooting from beyond the arc was also notable, hitting six three-pointers and maintaining an overall field goal percentage of 50.

The defensive efforts by UNLV cannot be overlooked either. With eight steals and two blocks during that game, they were able to disrupt Oklahoma's flow and convert turnovers into valuable points offensively. This level of defensive intensity will be crucial as they go head-to-head with FDU.

The Knights should not be underestimated though. They bring their own set of skills to this matchup which could pose challenges for UNLV. However, given UNLV's recent performance against Arizona Wildcats where they secured a solid win (72-53) despite being out-blocked six times shows that they can adapt under pressure.

Looking back further into November 30th’s game versus Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in Flagstaff reveals another layer of Rebel resilience; even when faced with seven blocks from NAU’s defense and only one block themselves, UNLV managed an assertive victory scoring 85 points while allowing just 69.

What stands out about this Rebel team is not just their ability to score but also how well-rounded their play has been across different facets of the game – from rebounding where they pulled down an impressive total of 39 rebounds against Oklahoma to maintaining high free throw percentages around 78 percent in multiple games.

With such statistics backing them up, it would not come as a surprise if we witness another commanding performance by UNLV when they step onto Rothman Center’s court. The key for them will be maintaining that same level of energy and execution seen in past games while continuing to exploit any weaknesses within FDU’s lineup.

Fans eager to support or simply witness what promises to be an exciting encounter can catch all the action live on December 21st at Rothman Center starting at 5:30 PM local time (Teaneck). Unfortunately for those who cannot make it in person, there are no broadcast networks listed for this event; however staying tuned through social media channels may provide real-time updates throughout this thrilling women's basketball contest.
