Rebels' Rampage Meets Falcons' Fortitude at Clune Arena Showdown

As the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Lady Rebels gear up for their next challenge against the Air Force Falcons, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Rebels have been on a tear recently, and their upcoming visit to Clune Arena in Colorado Springs is shaping up to be a clash of titanic proportions.

Air Force Falcons VS UNLV Rebels

The UNLV Lady Rebels have been nothing short of spectacular in their recent outings. Their last game on January 11 against the San Jose State Spartans was a showcase of dominance as they cruised to a 91-55 victory. The offensive firepower displayed by UNLV was impressive, with an outstanding field goal percentage of 49 and an even more remarkable free throw percentage at 83. Not only did they excel offensively, but their defensive prowess also shone through with ten steals and three blocks.

The synergy between players has been palpable; evidenced by the whopping 23 assists that facilitated smooth ball movement leading to high-percentage shots. This teamwork has become a hallmark of the Lady Rebels' playstyle this season.

On January 6 against the Colorado State Rams, UNLV once again proved their mettle with an 83-78 win on enemy territory at Moby Arena. Despite being tied twice and experiencing twelve lead changes throughout the game, UNLV maintained composure and showcased their clutch gene when it mattered most.

Their performance against Utah State Aggies on December 30 was nothing short of breathtaking as they put up an awe-inspiring total of 107 points while maintaining efficiency from both two-point range (65 percent) and from beyond the arc (28 percent). The defense turned offense into art form by converting turnovers into points – scoring an incredible 41 points off turnovers alone.

However, it would be unwise to underestimate the Air Force Falcons who will have home-court advantage come January 13th. While not as statistically dominant as UNLV in recent games, AFA's determination and strategic gameplay could pose challenges for any team that steps onto Clune Arena's hardwood floor.

With such compelling performances leading up to this encounter, fans can expect another exhilarating display from UNLV where they will look to assert themselves early on both ends of the court. If history is any indication though, one should never count out a determined underdog like AFA playing in front of its loyal supporters.

Rebels enthusiasts should mark their calendars for Saturday noon when these two teams lock horns in what promises to be another chapter in this riveting conference rivalry. For those unable to attend in person at Clune Arena can catch all live action via MW Network online broadcast network – ensuring not a moment is missed from what could very well be another memorable victory for UNLV Lady Rebels basketball team.
