The Utah Utes set an aggressive pace from the start, taking a substantial lead by scoring 22 points in the first quarter while holding Saint Joseph's to just 6 points. The home team tried to rally back with 20 points in the second quarter but still trailed as Utah put up another solid performance with 16 points before halftime.

Utah continued their relentless play into the second half, adding another 13 and then finishing strong with a final burst of 23 points in fourth quarter. Their offense was highly efficient; they shot an impressive field goal percentage of approximately 49 percent and were particularly effective inside, scoring a notable total of 40 points in paint.

Defensively, Utah was just as formidable. They amassed a total of seven steals and four blocks during the game which contributed to their robust defensive presence that stifled Saint Joseph's offensive efforts. Moreover, they capitalized on turnovers by scoring an impressive total of 21 points off turnovers.

The rebounding battle also went decisively to Utah who collected a total of 41 rebounds compared to Saint Joseph's tally of only 32 rebounds. This included nine offensive boards for Utah which helped them secure additional scoring opportunities through second chance points.

Saint Joseph's struggled against this stout defense managing only two steals throughout and shooting just over one-third from two-point range at approximately thirty-four percent accuracy rate which reflected their difficulties creating high-percentage shots against Utah’s defense.

Looking ahead for fans of The University of Utah women’s basketball team: The next challenge will be away against South Carolina Gamecocks at Mohegan Sun Arena located in Uncasville on December tenth at seven-thirty PM Eastern Time Zone. Fans can catch this upcoming game live nationally on ESPN channel two hundred six where they will witness if The University of Utah can continue their winning momentum into this next contest.
