Washington Huskies Set to Battle Queens Royals in Women's Basketball Showdown at Alaska Airlines Arena

As the Washington Huskies prepare to host the Queens Royals at the Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an enthralling encounter in women's basketball. The Huskies, coming off a decisive 60-49 victory over the Seattle Redhawks on December 1st, are looking to maintain their winning momentum.

Washington Huskies VS Eastern Washington Eagles

The game against the Redhawks showcased the Huskies' ability to steadily build their lead, outscoring their opponents in each quarter after a relatively slow start. Their defense was particularly impressive, holding the Redhawks to under 15 points per quarter. This defensive solidity will be crucial when they face off against Queens Royals.

In contrast, during their November 26th game against Santa Clara Broncos at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, WASH struggled as they were defeated with a score of 58-71. Despite putting up a consistent scoring effort across all quarters that day, it was not enough to secure victory. However, this loss could serve as an important lesson for WASH; it highlighted areas that needed improvement and may have provided additional motivation heading into future games.

Earlier on November 25th also at Orleans Arena but facing Fordham Rams, WASH demonstrated resilience and offensive prowess by securing a win with a score of 71-62. Their performance across all four quarters was commendable and showed that when they find their rhythm early on, they can control games and come out on top.

The upcoming match presents an opportunity for WASH to capitalize on home-court advantage and harness the energy from their supportive fans in Seattle. The team must focus on maintaining strong defensive pressure while also being efficient in offense if they want to overcome QUC’s challenge.

Looking ahead at QUC’s recent performances provides some insight into what can be expected from them; however, it is ultimately up to WASH players and coaching staff to execute their game plan effectively come game day.

Fans eager for action can mark their calendars for December 4th when these two teams clash at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM local time (6:00 PM ET), but unfortunately there has been no broadcast network announced yet for those who cannot attend in person. Nevertheless, this matchup is not one any fan of women's basketball would want miss – whether cheering from the stands or following along through other means available closer to game day.
