Clash at Allegiant Stadium: Arizona Cardinals Take on Las Vegas Raiders

As the Arizona Cardinals prepare to face off against the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, fans are holding their breath for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The Cardinals, coming off a tough game where they fell short against the Kansas City Chiefs with a score of 21-44 on September 11, are looking to rebound and capture a much-needed victory.

The previous game's statistics reveal that the Cardinals' offense struggled to find its rhythm. With only three touchdowns and an average gain of 4.5 yards per play, it was clear that improvements were needed both in air and ground attacks. Despite these challenges, there were glimpses of potential; notably, their red zone efficiency stood at 100 percent with three successes from as many attempts.

Defensively, the Cardinals showed room for improvement as well. They failed to record any sacks or interceptions against the Chiefs and allowed six quarterback hits. This lack of pressure could be detrimental when facing the Raiders' offensive line if not addressed promptly.

However, it wasn't all doom and gloom for ARI in their last outing. The special teams unit performed admirably with punting averaging over 50 yards per attempt and kick returns averaging an impressive 34 yards – showcasing areas where they can potentially exploit advantages over LV.

Looking back further into preseason games provides additional insights into how ARI might fare in their upcoming match-up. Their August 27 game against Tennessee Titans ended narrowly with a score of 23-26 but highlighted some strengths such as passing yardage totaling 285 yards and rushing touchdowns contributing to their overall scoreline.

The defense also stepped up during this preseason game by recording four sacks and one interception – showing that when dialed in correctly, they can disrupt opposing offenses effectively.

When comparing these past performances with what lies ahead at Allegiant Stadium on September 18th at 1:25 PM local time (PDT), it is evident that consistency will be key for ARI if they wish to secure victory away from home soil.

Fans eager to see whether ARI can turn around their fortunes should tune into CBS where live coverage will provide every thrilling moment from kickoff until the final whistle blows in Las Vegas.
