NRG Stadium Showdown: Arizona Cardinals Take On Houston Texans

As the Arizona Cardinals prepare to face off against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium, fans are cautiously optimistic. The Cardinals' recent performance has been a roller coaster, but there's reason to believe they could turn things around in their upcoming game on November 19.

Looking back at the game on November 12 against the Falcons, the Cardinals clinched a narrow victory with a score of 25-23. Their punting was exceptional, averaging 52 yards over three attempts and securing one inside the 20-yard line. The defense also stepped up with three sacks and four forced three-and-outs, contributing to their win despite accumulating 11 penalties for over a hundred yards.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Arizona. Their passing game struggled with only a 59 percent completion rate and an interception that could have been costly. They'll need to tighten up their aerial attack if they hope to outmaneuver the Texans' defense.

The rushing department showed promise as well; two touchdowns came from ground plays out of their total of six redzone attempts. If they can maintain this level of efficiency in rushing against Houston's defensive line, it might just be their ticket to another win.

In contrast, during their encounter with Cleveland Browns on November 5 where they were shut out at zero points while allowing 27 points is concerning. The offense was stifled by seven sacks and managed only an average gain of just over one yard per play due to relentless pressure from Cleveland's defense.

Despite these setbacks, there are positive takeaways from previous games that suggest potential for improvement against Houston. For instance, in their October 29 clash with Baltimore Ravens where they scored a respectable 24 points albeit in defeat shows that when clicking; this team can put up numbers.

Arizona will need more consistency across all fronts—offense needs better protection for its quarterback and fewer turnovers while special teams must continue delivering strong performances like we've seen recently.

The upcoming match is crucial for both teams as they look towards improving their standings within respective divisions before playoffs loom closer into view each week passes by – making every game count even more than last one did!

Cardinals fans should mark calendars for Sunday afternoon showdown scheduled at NRG Stadium kicking off promptly at noon local time (1 PM ET). This pivotal NFL matchup will be broadcasted live on CBS – don't miss what promises be an exciting contest between two determined squads!
