Clash at State Farm Stadium: Arizona Cardinals to Host San Francisco 49ers

As the Arizona Cardinals prepare to welcome the San Francisco 49ers to State Farm Stadium, fans are eager for a glimpse of what could unfold on December 17th. The Cardinals' recent performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 3rd showcased a team that can dominate when it clicks, securing a convincing win with 24 points to Pittsburgh's 10.

The Cardinals' offense was efficient in their last outing, with an average gain of 4.5 yards per play and no turnovers. Their rushing game was particularly effective, amassing 150 yards and scoring two touchdowns. This ground game potency will be crucial against the formidable defense of the SF team.

Defensively, ARI showed they could hold their own by not allowing any sacks and forcing three three-and-outs against Pittsburgh. However, they'll need more than just a solid defense; creating turnovers will be key in swinging momentum their way.

In contrast, during their November 26th game at home against the Los Angeles Rams, ARI struggled as they were outscored by more than double – only putting up 14 points to LA's commanding total of 37. Despite this loss showing some defensive weaknesses by missing ten tackles and failing to force any fumbles or interceptions – it also highlighted areas for improvement that if addressed could turn into strengths.

Looking back further at ARI's performance on November 19th against Houston Texans reveals both promise and concern; while they managed four sacks and three interceptions defensively which is impressive – offensively they suffered two fumbles (losing one) which indicates ball security issues that cannot be afforded against SF.

The upcoming match-up promises excitement as both teams bring unique strengths onto the field. For ARI fans hoping for victory at State Farm Stadium under lights at Glendale AZ – maintaining possession time like in previous games (overwhelmingly holding onto ball for nearly half an hour), coupled with high red zone efficiency seen throughout past performances (100 percent success rate), might just tip scales in favor of home side.

To witness this thrilling encounter live between Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers tune into CBS on December 17th at precisely four minutes past four PM local time (MST).
