Cardinals Clipped by Rams at State Farm Stadium in Week 12 Showdown

The Cardinals' performance was highlighted by their efficient red zone and goal-to-go conversions, both achieving a perfect success rate. The offense managed to secure two touchdowns, one through the air and another on the ground. Despite this effort, they were unable to overcome a substantial deficit created by the Rams' dynamic scoring.

Arizona's passing game saw quarterback play resulting in an average of nearly five yards per attempt, with an overall completion percentage of 60 percent. They connected on 27 completions for a total of 256 yards through the air but were hindered by four sacks which resulted in losing yardage. The longest pass completion was for 36 yards and culminated in one of their two touchdowns.

On the rushing front, Arizona carried out fifteen attempts totaling 73 yards; their longest rush broke free for fourteen yards and contributed to one touchdown as well. Their ground game averaged close to five yards per carry with notable efforts after contact contributing twenty-five additional yards.

Special teams had mixed results; while kickoffs yielded two touchbacks from three attempts, punt returns were non-existent due to fair catches and no return yardage gained. A field goal attempt from beyond fifty yards failed without adding points on the board.

Defensively, Arizona managed only one interception which they returned for fourteen yards but could not capitalize further on this turnover opportunity. They forced three quarterback hurries yet recorded no sacks throughout the game against Los Angeles' offensive line.

The Cardinals also faced challenges with penalties amounting to thirty-four penalty-yards over five infractions which impacted their momentum during crucial moments of playtime.

As Arizona looks ahead after this tough loss at State Farm Stadium before over sixty-two thousand fans in attendance, they prepare for their next challenge away from home soil against Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium on December third at six o'clock Eastern Time (ET).
